Professional Development: Hudson Smales, Thoughtfull Design

Hudson is a specialist in user-centred design, helping organisations develop culture, brands, products and services. His approach draws on 20 years of customer-research experience, translating people’s motivations and behaviours into actionable business opportunities.

Before joining Thoughtfull Hudson was a senior leader at Air New Zealand, where he managed a number of world leading projects including the foundation research work for Air NZ’s culture change program. He was also a core team member, responsible for developing and managing the research program for the internationally awarded Skycouch and Spaceseat for Air NZ’s new long haul 773 product.
